The history of Relax: five generations dedicated to sleep

Relax began its journey in 1907, when its founders ran a small bed base repair workshop called Numancia in Zaragoza. More than a century and five generations later, the company has managed to preserve its family spirit while establishing itself as one of the most advanced mattress factories in Europe, with its La Muela plant serving as a technological benchmark for the industry. Few mattress brands can say they have remained in the hands of the same family for a century.

This continuity translates into a comprehensive quality management system covering all of its manufacturing processes, recognised with ISO 9001 certification from AENOR and TÜV Rheinland. Relax combines this rigour with the use of natural materials such as silk, linen, wool and cotton in some of its models, something unusual among high-volume manufacturing brands.
