What are the differences between the Sonpura Upholstery Series?

To help you choose the perfect fabric according to your lifestyle, the Pestaña model is available in different series of Sonpura upholstery, each one with specific characteristics in terms of finish, resistance and maintenance.

- Urban Series

• - Ecopel range: high-quality imitation leather that stands out for its easy cleaning, since all you need to do is wipe it with a damp cloth. Available in Stone and White colors.
• - Como Range: water-repellent technical fabric that repels liquids and is also fire-retardant. Available in Cream, Linen, Ash and Antelope colors.

- City Series

• - Cler range: fabric with water-repellent treatment, easy to clean and very practical for daily use. Available in Raw, Beige and Hamster colors.
• - Fjord range: soft touch fabric, easy cleaning and fire retardant properties. Available in Ivory, Beige, Antelope and Grey.

- Excellent Series

• - Chrome Range: the most hygienic option. Easy-to-clean fabric with antibacterial and anti-mite treatment, ideal for people with allergies. Available in Raw, Pearl and Beige colors.

How is the headboard installed according to its height?

The assembly of the headboard varies depending on the height chosen, adapting to different installation needs.

• - Height 80 cm (hanging): This model is anchored to the wall and includes the necessary hardware. Requires drilling into the wall. The transport service does not include drilling or wall installation.
• - Height 125 cm (to the floor): This model stands directly on the floor thanks to its included 10 cm legs. For greater stability, it incorporates a high-strength double-sided adhesive system that allows it to be fixed to the wall without the need to drill holes.

What does it mean for the structure to be FSC certified?

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification guarantees that the Galician pine wood used in the headboard structure comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests.

This translates into two key benefits:

• - Quality: the headboard has a natural solid wood skeleton, which provides it with superior resistance and durability compared to other materials such as agglomerates.
• - Sustainability: your purchase contributes to the preservation of the environment and biodiversity, avoiding uncontrolled logging.

How do I know which headboard size to choose for my bed?

In our selector you will find the total width of the headboard (for example, 100 cm, 145 cm or 160 cm). To achieve a more aesthetic result and for the headboard to correctly frame the bed, we recommend that it be approximately 10 cm wider than the mattress, that is, about an additional 5 cm on each side.

Quick equivalence guide:

• - For a 90 cm mattress → choose a 100 cm headboard.
• - For a mattress of 135 cm → choose headboard of 145 cm.
• - For mattress of 150 cm → choose headboard of 160 cm.
• - For mattress of 180 cm → choose headboard of 190 cm.

Note: if you prefer the headboard to be exactly the same width as the mattress, you can opt for a special measurement.

I can't find the size I need, do you make special sizes?

Yes, we manufacture custom headboards to adapt to your needs. If you need a specific width to cover bedside tables, a different bed size or a different height than the standard one, we can do it for you.

How is the headboard installed? Is it hanging or supported?

The fixing system depends on the height of the headboard, always seeking to offer stability and ease of installation.

• - 125 cm high headboards: are designed to rest on the floor. They include 2 10 cm PVC legs and have velcro on the back to fix them to the wall and prevent movement.
• - 80 cm high headboards: are designed to be hung on the wall. They are supplied with 2 plates so you can easily anchor them at the height you want.
