The frame is solidly built in wood on a metal structure, providing excellent resistance and stability for the mattress. The lid is upholstered in anti-slip fabric colour-matched to the rest of the base. If White is chosen, the lid fabric is white; if Grey is selected, the lid fabric is beige. The interior top panel is bolted to the frame to prevent deformation over time.
