The Dunlop Latex Crib mattress from the Dunlopillo brand, has a 100% Dunlop Latex core, a very durable high-quality latex, manufactured with the Dunlop manufacturing method, which offers great elasticity, very suitable support for the baby's body and provides self-ventilation that has natural antibacterial and fungicidal properties and prevents the proliferation of mites in the core.
In addition to all these characteristics, it is equipped with 5 comfort zones.
The Dunlop process indicates the method that has been followed to manufacture the latex. For this process, compressed air is mixed with the latex (100% natural resin that comes from the Hevea Brasilensis tree), in this way you can control the level of firmness of the core obtained, up to the desired level.
Subsequently, the mixture is vulcanized at 115ºC and the liquid latex is converted into latex foam and then it is cooled naturally and a configuration of the latex cells is obtained, such as snowflakes.
What characterizes the Dunlop Manufacturing system is that the possible preservatives and accelerators that can be added in the composition phase are eliminated in the washing process that follows the cooling process, resulting in a final latex that is 100% natural and free of chemical substances.
As for the fabric that covers the mattress, it is on Face A (upper), It is 100% sanforized cotton, which allows it to not shrink despite washing and the mattress is more comfortable for the baby in the coldest months, while for the hottest months, Side B (bottom) is recommended, upholstered in Microtherm Fabric with 3D thread, which is anti-suffocation, breathable and prevents moisture accumulation and formation of moulds.
All the materials that make up this mattress meet the OEKO TEX® and Sanitized® certificates, which guarantee that they are materials free of harmful substances harmful to the baby's health and with anti-mite properties. For greater hygiene of the mattress, it can be removed and washed in the machine.
It is manufactured in measurements of 60x120 cm and 70x140 and in both sizes, the height is 10 cm.
